Pool Heat Exchanger OVB 500 (145 kW)
The OVB 500 pool heat exchanger is designed for extremely high-performance heating of swimming pool water and hot tubs. Made of stainless steel AISI 316, it provides maximum corrosion resistance and long service life even under continuous heavy-duty operation. It is suitable for use with gas boilers, heat pumps, and solar collectors.
Not suitable for saltwater pools!
Practical note: Although officially rated for pools up to 140 m³, we most commonly use the OVB 500 for pools of approximately 40–70 m³, where it offers excellent performance reserve and stable real-world operation.

The OVB 500 heat exchanger is designed for extremely powerful and long-term stable heating of swimming pool water and hot tubs. With a heating capacity of 145 kW, it belongs among the most powerful models in the OVB range.
Realistic sizing – experience from practice
Although officially specified for pools up to 140 m³, real installations rarely achieve ideal temperature gradients and flow rates. For this reason, we most often recommend the OVB 500 for pools of approximately 40–70 m³, where it delivers optimal performance and reliability.
How the heat exchanger works
Inside the exchanger body is a bundle of thin-walled tubes carrying heating water (primary circuit). Pool water flows around these tubes (secondary circuit), ensuring efficient heat transfer and fast pool heating.
