Manual pool cleaners connected to filtration or a garden hose
Manual vacuuming lets you target specific areas of the pool floor. The range includes suction heads that use pool filtration and cleaners powered by water from a garden hose.
Vacuum head, hose and telescopic pole
The De-Luxe vacuum head has bottom and side brushes and a connection for a 32 or 38 mm hose. It needs a suitable telescopic pole, hose and suction point. Connecting through a skimmer may require its vacuum plate.
Fill the hose with water before connecting it to prevent air entering the suction line. Follow the filtration manual for flow and circuit settings. If dirt returns to the pool, check the media and internal filter parts as well as whether backwashing is needed.
Cleaning without connecting to pool filtration
The MARIMEX Clean Vac 10800012 connects to a garden hose and collects debris in a nylon bag. The stated set includes a 1.2 m pole and a 13 cm wide head. It is not powered by a cartridge filter.
Holders, clips, axles and brushes are available for minor repairs to existing heads. Each replacement must match the particular design.
