Blue hoses for vacuuming and pool connections
Blue does not identify a single type of hose. The range includes lightweight sectional hoses with smooth ends and flexible PVC hoses that fit over hose tails. Both have their uses, but a replacement needs the right type of connection.
Sectional vacuum hose
The 38 mm blue vacuum hose has smooth ends at one-metre intervals. We supply the ordered length in one piece: for example, five units means five metres of hose. During vacuuming, it connects the vacuum head to the pool's designated suction point.
Flexible PVC hose for connections
The 38 mm blue flexible PVC hose has a 38 mm internal diameter and fits over a hose tail, secured with a stainless steel clamp. This product is not solvent-welded.
There are also 32 mm versions in this category. Size depends on the equipment being connected, rather than pool size alone. A damaged end may be repaired with a suitable connector, provided the rest of the hose is in good condition and the connection suits that hose type.
