Defoaming and spa cleaning serve different purposes
A defoamer suppresses foam on the surface. If foaming repeatedly returns, also address water condition, filter clogging and residues of products entering the spa.
Anti-foam treatment
GUAa Whirlpool Antifoam 200 ml is a smaller pack of liquid defoamer. A one-litre version is also available. The label determines the quantity and application method, rather than a general estimate of a few drops for every spa.
Circulation pipework care
SPA Rohrreiniger 1 litre is a separate circulation system cleaner. Its procedure differs from that of a defoamer added to suppress foam, and it is used according to its own instructions.
A defoamer does not replace disinfection or filter cleaning. For recurring problems, check measured water values and the maintenance routine; another dose may not resolve the cause.
