Automatic pool chemical dosing
Dosing equipment differs in what it measures and how it controls chemical delivery. A pH controller responds to measured pH, redox systems monitor a different quantity, and a timed pump doses according to a programme.
Measurement-based control or a timed programme
The automatic systems and dosing pumps include PP60 pH, PP60 PRG and ASIN AQUA systems. Selection depends on whether the equipment should control one function or several products and what measurement it uses.
Maintaining measurement and dosing lines
An automatic system needs regular checks of probes, tubing and injection points. pH 7.00 calibration solution is used for calibration according to the procedure specified for the probe and instrument.
The equipment must suit the chemical and concentration used. Correct installation also links dosing to circulation operation. Automation makes regular care easier but does not replace independent water tests or maintenance of the complete pool.
