63 mm PVC for pool filtration circuits
A 63 mm pipe run can include elbows, branches, a shut-off valve and transitions to smaller pipes. The solvent-weld connection size matches the outside diameter of the pipe inserted into it.
Isolating a branch for servicing
The Plimex 63 mm ball valve has solvent-weld connections and unions on both sides. Its body can therefore be removed after shutting down and depressurising the circuit. The valve has a stated length of 19.5 cm and nut diameter of 11.5 cm, which matter when planning a plant pit.
Reducing to 50 mm
The short 63/50 mm reducer is solvent-welded into a 63 mm fitting socket and accepts a 50 mm pipe inside. It can be used to connect a smaller branch, for example. Long reducers and threaded adapters are also available for different layouts.
Pipe diameter must suit the required flow and connected equipment. A reducer alone does not replace design of the complete circuit.
