Dosing pumps with timed or measurement-based control
A dosing pump feeds small quantities of liquid treatment into the circulation system. Some models follow a timed programme; others form part of a controller with a probe. The distinction matters: a timer cannot detect current water conditions.
PP60 PRG and PP60 pH
The ASEKO PP60 PRG is a programmable timed pump with a stated dosing rate of 60 ml/min. Its programme determines the amount added and the dosing intervals.
By contrast, the ASEKO PP60 pH controls dosing from a pH probe. It is configured for the appropriate pH plus or pH minus product; it does not dose both simultaneously through one pump head.
Installation and consumable parts
Consider the chemical resistance of the tubing and injection components, the required chemical quantity and the pressure at the injection point. Installation must include the link to circulation specified in the equipment manual.
Check tubing and dosing lines regularly. A controller with a probe also requires measurement maintenance and calibration. Automation makes operation easier, but does not replace independent water testing.
