90 mm PVC for larger pool circuits
Solvent-weld fittings, couplings, reducers and valves are available in this size. For a solvent-weld connection, 90 mm denotes the outside diameter of the pipe inserted into the fitting.
Joining and shutting off pipework
The 90 mm coupling joins two matching pipes. Its details specify an overall length of 108 mm and an insertion depth of 52 mm on each side. The Plimex 90 mm two-way valve has unions and solvent-weld connections on both sides.
Installation space and adapters
Larger fittings need room for the handle and for loosening union nuts. The listed valve has a stated length of 25 cm. Choose reducers and threaded adapters to match the actual connection of the next component.
Prepare solvent-weld joints with cleaner and adhesive intended for the material and diameter concerned. The adhesive instructions specify the curing time before pressurising.
