Solar covers for the water surface
A bubble cover floats directly on the water, reducing evaporation and the associated heat loss. The resulting pool temperature depends on weather, covering, water volume and any heating.
Dimensions and thickness
Examples in the range include a blue 400 µm cover and a transparent 500 µm version. These products are ordered as a rectangle or square in the selected width and length. Once laid flat on the water, the material can be trimmed to the pool's shape.
Positioning and handling
Lay these covers with the bubbles facing down towards the water. For larger pools, a suitable reel and correctly spaced straps make removal easier. The cover should be out of the water during swimming and is not a safety cover.
Colour and thickness alone do not guarantee a particular temperature rise or lifespan in years. Storage and compliance with the product's operating conditions, including exposure to pool chemicals, affect service life.
