Pool lights: complete assemblies and replacement lamps
For a new installation, choose a light suited to the pool's construction. For an existing light repair, the model, lamp dimensions, connections and seal condition determine the choice.
Halogen or colour LED
The 300 W / 12 V halogen bulb has a stated diameter of 177 mm and height of 107 mm including its connection tabs. The 16 W / 12 V RGB LED lamp has a diameter of 176 mm and height of 70 mm. It provides coloured light and, according to the product details, includes a remote control.
A similar diameter alone does not confirm interchangeability. The LED lamp must suit the power supply, light housing and control method of the complete assembly.
Power supply and watertightness
Follow each model's specified power supply and installation manual. Electrical connection must be carried out by a professional. During replacement, the seal, cable gland and correct closure of the light all matter; a 12 V designation alone does not ensure the safety of the complete installation.
