Pool chemical kits for opening and regular care
A kit brings several products, and sometimes accessories, together in one package. Its specific contents and intended water care system determine whether it suits your needs. Not every kit includes a tester, both pH plus and pH minus, or a tablet dispenser.
A kit for opening the pool
The spring starter kit contains 1 kg of chlorine shock, 1 l of waterline cleaner, 1.5 kg of Probazen pH minus, 1 kg of 3-in-1 combi tablets and a cleaning sponge. It combines water treatment with waterline cleaning.
Hot tub essentials
The chlorine hot tub starter kit includes 1 kg of 5-in-1 mini tablets, 1 kg of chlorine shock, 1.5 kg of pH minus, a floating dispenser with a thermometer and 3-in-1 test strips. The smaller tablets suit a compatible dispenser, but tablet size alone does not determine the dose.
Other kits are available for bromine or active oxygen systems. Do not alternate or mix systems simply to use up whichever product is left. Dose each component according to its label, water volume and test results. A package's contents do not guarantee a full season's supply.
