Pool hoses and clamps to suit your connections
Hoses for manual vacuuming, above-ground pool connections and solvent-welded pipework have different constructions. The connection and intended use come first, followed by length and colour.
Hose-tail connections and solvent-welded hoses
A hose fitted over a hose tail needs the correct internal diameter and a suitable clamp. The clamp's adjustment range must accommodate the outside diameter of the hose once fitted.
By contrast, Vágnerpool 50/43 mm flexible PVC hose has an outside diameter of 50 mm and an inside diameter of 43 mm. It is solvent-welded into suitable fittings; it is not designed to fit over a 50 mm hose tail.
Extending hoses and joining different sizes
The 32/38 mm hose connector joins hoses in the two stated sizes. Hoses with threaded connections also require a matching thread or the specified adapter.
For manual vacuuming, the hose connects the vacuum head to the filtration system's suction point. A telescopic pole guides the head. Sufficient hose length lets you reach the whole pool floor without stretching or kinking the hose.
