Complete sand filtration sets with pumps
A filtration set combines a tank, multiport valve and pump. Selection starts with pool volume, but also takes account of pipe length, diameter and other connected equipment. These conditions affect the actual water flow.
Smaller and larger sets
TOP 400 with an Emaux SS033 pump is offered as a guide for pools up to 15 m³. It has a 400 mm diameter tank and takes 35 kg of sand.
ROMA 500 with a Preva 50 pump has a 500 mm diameter tank holding 100 kg of sand. The set is intended as a guide for pools up to 40 m³. It combines a different filter size and pump, rather than simply a larger tank on the same equipment.
Installation and operation
Allow space to operate the valve, backwash and service the pump. Package contents depend on the particular set; filter media and materials for connecting it to the pool need to be considered separately.
Follow the filtration manual for media grade and backwashing. Always switch the pump off before changing multiport valve positions. Mechanical filtration alone does not replace disinfection and water testing.
