Replacement skimmer weirs, baskets and seals
The weir at the skimmer inlet, removable basket and top lid have different functions and mountings. Find the correct part by skimmer range and the original component's actual dimensions.
Skimmer weir
The weir for a 15 Ă— 15 skimmer has stated dimensions of 145 Ă— 120 Ă— 18 mm. The 15 Ă— 15 designation therefore does not give the exact dimensions of the weir itself. The pivot design and seating also matter.
Debris basket
The VA/Astral 17.5 litre skimmer basket has a top diameter of 203 mm, bottom diameter of 151 mm and height of 121 mm. Its seating in the skimmer body must also match for a correct fit.
Lid selection depends on shape and seating in the frame. Choose replacement seals or flanges for the corresponding body and pool construction. Photos of the original component and its dimensions help identify a replacement, even for an older skimmer with unreadable markings.
