Filter cartridges by type and mounting
A cartridge traps physical dirt as water passes through its filter material. The correct element must match the particular filter or spa in both dimensions and seating.
Bestway and Intex
Examples include Bestway VI and Intex S1, alongside other Intex A, B, D, E and H types and Bestway I, III and IV. The type designation is a starting point; replacement selection also considers height, opening diameter and end fittings.
Cleaning and replacement
Cleaning intervals depend on use and the equipment manual. Remove dirt using the procedure specified for the cartridge; a suitable cartridge cleaner provides more thorough care. Damaged filter material or end fittings are reasons for replacement.
Reduced flow may be caused by a clogged cartridge or another part of the circuit. A cartridge does not replace water disinfection, and the same replacement interval in weeks cannot be set for every type.
