Where Should the Jet Be Installed in the Pool?
They are usually installed opposite the skimmer, approximately 30–40 cm below the water level, or in places where water circulation is required. The jets must be adjusted so that the entire pool volume circulates and so-called "dead zones" do not form.
Dimensions of the professional jet:
The jet is embedded approximately 30–40 cm below the water level during concreting. When building with insulated concrete forms, a section of the concrete block is left out.
The jet for a concrete pool is then mounted without the gasket, pressure plate, and decorative cover (only the threaded jet body is used). It is attached to a board together with a piece of flexible hose that is pre-glued inside. The hose should be larger than the hole in the pool wall. This formwork board is then anchored into the surrounding blocks, and the jet is concreted in place.
If the jet is installed in a plastic pool, a hole is made to insert the jet from the inside. The gasket is placed on the jet and it is inserted through the opening, then tightened from the back using the nut.
