Everyday pool filtration
The self-priming Axel has a prefilter to intercept coarse debris. Its shaft does not contact the pool water. Vagnerpool specifies installation up to 3 m above or 3 m below the water level; pipework and priming conditions must be considered.

Dimensions and replacement
The supplier’s drawing shows a width of 196 mm, a height of 299 mm and an inlet centre height of 185 mm. Allow approximately 150 mm above the lid for basket removal and approximately 120 mm behind the motor for service. Overall length is marked “max. L” separately in the drawing; do not treat the 420 mm dimension as the overall motor length. For a replacement in a confined space, ask us to confirm the length of the supplied motor version.
Selection and care
Actual flow depends on the filter, pipework and elevation. Match the pump curve to your system and the filter’s permitted flow. Prime before starting and never run dry. Before cleaning, disconnect power and release pressure. Keep the motor ventilated and protect the installation from flooding and frost.
