This complete drain assembly replaces the drain on the matching Nilo filter tank version. Choose it when the valve body or complete assembly is damaged, rather than when only the separate drain plug is missing.

Complete drain valve under catalogue code ISP040290. This is the tank drain, not the side-mounted six-way filter valve.

Identifying the correct part

In our guide this is position 9 on the Nilo Eco 650 drawing from 2023. Compare the actual drain design first when repairing an older tank.

If you are unsure about the version, send us a photograph of the original part and the filter label. Matching the actual design is more reliable than using the range name alone.

Replacement and checks

Before dismantling, switch off the pump, prevent it from starting and release filter pressure as instructed in the filter manual. Open the joint only after depressurising. Clean the seating surfaces and inspect adjacent parts; a new seal will not repair a damaged thread or cracked body.

Follow the instructions for your particular tank during fitting. After assembly, bleed the filter and check the repaired joint for leaks when restarting. Do not overtighten plastic components.
