This adapter forms part of the connection between the filter tank and the matching side-mounted valve. It allows a damaged adapter and sealing section to be replaced without purchasing an entire tank.

Connection adapter with seal under catalogue reference IFS166600418. The side-mounted valve is not included.

Identifying the correct part

The 1½″ version is catalogued for Lisboa 450–650 and shown in the Nilo Eco 650 drawing from 2023. Do not confuse it with 2″ or 2½″ adapters. Compare the thread and original connection design.

If you are unsure about the version, send us a photograph of the original part and the filter label. Matching the actual design is more reliable than using the range name alone.

Replacement and checks

Before dismantling, switch off the pump, prevent it from starting and release filter pressure as instructed in the filter manual. Open the joint only after depressurising. Clean the seating surfaces and inspect adjacent parts; a new seal will not repair a damaged thread or cracked body.

Follow the instructions for your particular tank during fitting. After assembly, bleed the filter and check the repaired joint for leaks when restarting. Do not overtighten plastic components.
