Fairland iGarden K-AI 70 robotic pool cleaner
Our pool specialist’s view
Camera-assisted orientation
Complete floor, wall and waterline cleaning
Long operating reserve for routine maintenance
A camera does not replace checking pool-shape and surface suitability
Maximum runtime depends on the cleaning mode
We would choose K-AI 70 for an owner wanting camera-assisted orientation alongside long runtime. Its appeal is the combination of navigation and complete cleaning. Camera assistance does not remove the need to check the pool’s shape and surface.

Keep in mind: Camera navigation does not replace checking pool suitability. Full cleaning and higher power reduce runtime below the stated floor-mode maximum.

How this model works in practice
It cleans the floor, walls and waterline using 180 + 50 µm filtration. The seven-hour maximum refers to floor cleaning. Modes are selected on the unit or through iGarden Robotics, with approximately 5.5-hour charging.
Controls and equipment
- A built-in rechargeable battery allows operation without a power cable attached.
- Select modes, cycle length and other settings on the cleaner or in the iGarden Robotics app. Configure the app while the robot is out of the water.
- The stated maximum runtime applies to floor-cleaning mode; walls, waterline and Turbo cleaning reduce runtime.
- Dual cameras help recognise the pool environment and guide the cleaning route.
Filtration: what is actually supplied
This version is supplied with 180 + 50 µm filtration. A lower micron figure indicates finer filtration. Fine filters clog sooner under a heavy debris load, so check them regularly. The cleaner does not replace the pool’s filtration and water treatment.
Before choosing
Camera navigation does not replace checking pool suitability. Full cleaning and higher power reduce runtime below the stated floor-mode maximum.

Care after cleaning
Lift the cleaner by its handle and allow water to drain. Empty the filter and rinse it with clean water; a clogged basket reduces suction. Before charging out of the pool, clean and dry the charging contact as instructed.

How to care for your automatic pool cleaner
Regular care helps maintain performance and extend the cleaner’s service life. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions and the operating limits of your model.
- Maintain correct pH and chemical levels. Unsuitable pH or excessive sanitiser concentrations can damage materials and shorten the cleaner’s life.
- Do not leave the cleaner in the pool unnecessarily. Remove the cleaner from the water after the cleaning cycle. Rinse it with clean water, allow it to drain and store it in a dry, ventilated place. Unnecessary prolonged immersion exposes its components to pool chemicals and mineral deposits.
- Clean the filter after every use. Empty and thoroughly rinse the basket or filter bag. A clogged filter restricts water flow and reduces cleaning performance.
- Rinse the entire cleaner after use in salt water. Avoid unnecessary immersion. After removal, thoroughly rinse the exterior, filter compartment and removable filters with clean, unsalted water to remove salt residue. Follow the manual’s rinsing and handling instructions.
