Nilo / Lisboa filter laterals 220 mm, 1″ thread – 2 pieces

Laterals form part of the bottom distribution assembly inside a sand filter. They retain the filter media while allowing water into the collector pipework. A cracked or damaged lateral can be one cause of sand entering the pool.

What is included

Two 220 mm laterals with a 1″ thread. Central hub, pipe and other distribution arms are not included.

Identifying the correct part

Vagner lists Nilo / Lisboa 650–800 compatibility. Our guide marks position 12 on the Nilo Eco 650 drawing from 2023. Both the 220 mm length and the thread must match; this is not a 110 or 160 mm lateral.

If you are unsure about the version, send us a photograph of the original part and the filter label. Matching the actual design is more reliable than using the range name alone.

Replacement and checks

Before dismantling, switch off the pump, prevent it from starting and release filter pressure as instructed in the filter manual. Open the joint only after depressurising. Clean the seating surfaces and inspect adjacent parts; a new seal will not repair a damaged thread or cracked body.

Follow the instructions for your particular tank during fitting. After assembly, bleed the filter and check the repaired joint for leaks when restarting. Do not overtighten plastic components.
