Replacement liquid reagents for your test kit
Drop test kits use different reagents and scales. Choose a replacement solution by the kit designation and original bottle, rather than simply whether it measures chlorine or pH.
Basic pH and chlorine test kits
The replacement pH and Cl test drops are intended for the corresponding tester with a red pH scale and yellow chlorine scale. This product is not a replacement for the blue-green DUKE tester.
DUKE reagents
DUKE C1 drops are a separate reagent for chlorine testing with the DUKE CP kit. The range also includes C2 and pH solution, as well as T1, T2 and T3 for hardness testing. Individual bottles may form part of a multistep method and are not interchangeable.
Follow the tester's instructions for the number of drops, sample volume and reading method. Some tests measure a colour change as reagent is gradually added, while others use comparison with a scale. Store reagents closed in their original packaging and replace them according to their usable life and storage conditions, rather than applying one replacement interval to all kits.
