Sample calculation and cutting plan – 5.5 × 3 × 1.5 m pool
Specification: rectangular pool without steps. Roll width is 1.65 m. The walls are cut from the full liner height of 1.65 m (even though the pool is 1.5 m deep: the remaining 15 cm cannot be reused because the liner is folded at the top and bottom, leaving at most a narrow strip. For a 1.55 m-deep pool, waste will be zero).
Cutting plan (each piece must remain whole)
Walls (each in one piece):
- 3.1 m + 3.1 m + 5.6 m + 5.6 m = 17.4 linear metres
Floor (1.65 m-wide strips):
- the floor is 3 m wide → you need 2 strips (2 × 1.65 = 3.3 m)
- 2 × 5.5 m = 11.0 linear metres
Total length of pieces
17.4 linear metres (walls) + 11.0 linear metres (floor) = 28.4 linear metres
Why “25 m + 3.4 m” is not enough
Pieces are cut consecutively from the roll and must remain whole. For example, the best arrangement in one 25 m roll is:
- Roll 1: 5.6 + 5.6 + 3.1 + 3.1 + 5.5 = 22.9 m (approximately 2.1 m remains)
- Roll 2: the final floor strip remains: 5.5 m
Result: 1 full roll (25 m) + an additional 5.5 linear metres
Allow a larger reserve for pools with steps, benches, rounded corners or overflow channels.

The liner uses an advanced multi-layer construction. The top layer is an acrylic protective layer with a 3D design, protecting against UV radiation, chemical exposure and dirt deposits.
Underneath are high-quality PVC layers, providing flexibility, colour stability and high mechanical resistance. The central polyester reinforcement (mesh) significantly increases material strength and prevents deformation.
The bottom PVC layer provides a firm bond with the substrate and long-term pool watertightness.
