How to choose a robotic pool cleaner
What should it clean?
Distinguish floor cleaning, full-wall cleaning and waterline scrubbing. The waterline is the wall at water level, not floating debris on the surface. Dolphin E10 and Spring may climb around 40 cm up the wall and are therefore grouped with floor-cleaning models.
Pool size and cable length
The length filter follows the maximum pool size recommended by the manufacturer. Power-cable length is a different measurement. When only floor area is specified, we do not convert it into an assumed pool length.
Included filter fineness
A lower micron rating means finer filtration. Filters reflect the equipment supplied with the specific offer, including explicitly stated gifts. Values of 20, 60, 120 and 150 µm belong to both adjacent bands. A robot supplied with several filters may appear in several groups. Finer filters need more frequent cleaning, and micron ratings are approximate.
Battery, app and maintenance
Runtime varies with cleaning mode, water temperature and battery condition. An extended Eco schedule does not mean continuous cleaning for several days. Wireless models may need to be out of the water to change app settings. Clean the filter after use and follow the manufacturer instructions for charging, operation and storage.
