Brilix P400 filter standpipe

The standpipe connects the internal water distribution system to the top-mounted six-way valve. It replaces a damaged central pipe in a P400 / FSP 400 filter tank.

Total length: 410 mm. Position 6 in our tank drawing. Filter laterals are separate items.

Pool specialist’s advice

P400, P450 and P500 standpipes have different lengths. Compare the original overall length including the lower collector hub and check how the pipe seats in the valve.

When to replace it

Replace a cracked pipe or damaged connection. If sand returns to the pool, also inspect the laterals and their joints.

Installation

Switch off the pump and release pressure before opening the filter. Follow the filter manual. Cover the top pipe opening while adding sand, clean sealing surfaces and inspect the standpipe seal before refitting the valve.
