Pool specialist opinion – review
- + Rapid increase in chlorine concentration
- + Easier dosing than granular chlorine shock
- + Practical 20 g tablets with no need to measure out granules
- + Suitable for all water hardness levels
- - Fast-dissolving tablets are not intended to replace slow-dissolving tablets for long-term maintenance
“We recommend these 20 g tablets primarily as a convenient alternative to conventional granular chlorine shock. There is no need to measure out granules – simply use the required number of tablets according to your pool size. They are suitable for rapidly chlorinating the water after filling the pool, heavy bathing or a deterioration in water quality.”

Fast-dissolving MINI chlorine tablets 20 g
Chemoform MINI chlorine tablets 20 g are fast-dissolving chlorine tablets designed for rapid disinfection and shock chlorination of pool water. They contain stabilised organic chlorine with approximately 56% available chlorine and are suitable for all water hardness levels.
Chlorine helps eliminate bacteria and viruses, breaks down organic contaminants and helps remove excess combined chlorine from pool water.
A convenient alternative to granular chlorine shock
The main advantage of 20 g tablets is their simple and precise dosing. Instead of measuring out granular chlorine shock, simply calculate the required number of tablets according to the pool volume.
The tablets dissolve quickly, making them suitable, for example:
- for shock chlorination of the pool,
- after the pool is first filled,
- after heavy bathing by a larger number of people,
- when the free chlorine concentration drops,
- when pool water quality deteriorates.
Dosing fast-dissolving MINI tablets
For rapid water treatment, use approximately 2–5 tablets per 10 m³ of pool water. Choose the exact amount according to the current water condition and the measured chlorine concentration.
| Pool volume | Recommended quantity | Amount of product |
|---|---|---|
| 10 m³ | 2–5 tablets | 40–100 g |
| 20 m³ | 4–10 tablets | 80–200 g |
| 30 m³ | 6–15 tablets | 120–300 g |
| 40 m³ | 8–20 tablets | 160–400 g |
| 50 m³ | 10–25 tablets | 200–500 g |
* For small pools, we recommend adjusting the dose to the current measured chlorine level. Do not split the tablets unless the product label permits it.
How to use the tablets correctly
Place the required number of tablets in the skimmer or floating dispenser and switch on the pool filtration system. Water circulation gradually distributes the dissolved product throughout the pool.
Never place the tablets directly on the pool floor or pool liner. A high local chlorine concentration may cause bleaching or surface damage.
Check the water first for the best results
Before application, we recommend measuring pH and free chlorine. Correct pH adjustment has a significant effect on chlorine disinfection efficiency. After shock treatment, check the chlorine concentration again before swimming.
