Filter vessels for pool sand filtration
A filter vessel holds the media through which the pump circulates pool water. The right size matches the pump's flow rate and the overall system. Space for the valve, pipe connections and routine maintenance also matters.
Small and large vessels
The FLEX 300 holds 20 kg of sand and has connections for 32/38 mm hoses. It suits smaller pool systems. The MIDI 500 with a side-mounted valve is a larger design with a different connection layout. The stated media capacity describes the quantity required; it does not automatically mean the media are included in the price.
Top-mounted and side-mounted valves
A top-mounted valve sits on the vessel neck, while a side-mounted valve connects at the side. When replacing a vessel, the assembly height and pipe positions therefore matter. A separate vessel is sold without a pump; the particular product specifies whether a valve, base and accessories are included.
Repairing an existing filter
A damaged lid, seal or internal distribution component can often be replaced separately. Available ranges include Azur spare parts and Midi parts for the corresponding models.
