Example calculation and cutting plan — 5.5 × 3 × 1.5 m pool
Brief: a rectangular pool without steps. The roll is 1.65 m wide. Wall pieces use the full liner width of 1.65 m (even for a 1.5 m deep pool, the extra 15 cm cannot be used for anything else: the liner folds at the top and bottom, so only a small strip may remain. For a 1.55 m deep pool, there will be no trimming waste).
Cutting plan (each piece must be continuous)
Walls (each as one continuous piece):
- 3.1 m + 3.1 m + 5.6 m + 5.6 m = 17.4 linear metres
Floor (1.65 m wide strips):
- the floor is 3 m wide → you need 2 strips (2 × 1.65 = 3.3 m)
- 2 × 5.5 m = 11.0 linear metres
Total length of the pieces
17.4 linear metres (walls) + 11.0 linear metres (floor) = 28.4 linear metres
Why “25 m + 3.4 m” is not enough
You cut pieces from the roll in sequence, and each piece must be continuous. For example, an efficient arrangement within one 25 m roll is:
- Roll 1: 5.6 + 5.6 + 3.1 + 3.1 + 5.5 = 22.9 m (approximately 2.1 m remains)
- Roll 2: the remaining floor strip is 5.5 m long
Result: 1 full roll (25 m) + an additional 5.5 linear metres
Allow a larger margin for pools with steps, benches, rounded corners or overflow channels.

The liner uses an advanced multilayer construction. The top layer is a protective acrylic layer with a 3D design, protecting the surface against UV radiation, chemical exposure and dirt deposits.
Beneath it are high-quality PVC layers, providing flexibility, colour stability and high mechanical resistance. The central polyester reinforcement mesh significantly increases the strength of the material and prevents deformation.
The bottom PVC layer provides a firm connection to the base and keeps the pool watertight over the long term.
