Heat-smoothed geotextile underlay for pool liners, 400 g/m², 1.5 m wide
Heat-smoothed geotextile, 400 g/m², serves as a protective underlay beneath the pool liner during pool construction. It protects the liner from damage and provides a smooth base for installation. Its greater stiffness makes it particularly suitable for heavy pool liners. Sold by the metre in a width of 1.5 m.
Sold by the metre: the price is for a piece measuring 1.5 m × 1 linear metre in length.
For example, if you need 1.5 m × 5 m, add 5 units to your basket. Maximum roll length: 50 metres.
Weight: 400 g/m²
Width: 1.5 m

Protective underlay for pool liners
Heat-smoothed geotextile weighing 400 g/m² provides a protective layer between the concrete base and the pool liner. It protects the liner from mechanical damage and provides a quality base for installation.
Suitable for heavy pool liners
The geotextile is particularly suitable for installing heavy liners such as Alkorplan, Elbe or Cefil. Its stiffness helps it retain its shape without bubbles or sagging, allowing precise installation.
Correct base preparation
The concrete base must be smooth, level and free of sharp edges. Geotextile can protect the liner from minor irregularities, but it cannot completely level them: imperfections would still be visible through the liner.
Installing the geotextile
Lay the underlay on the concrete in individual strips. Butt the strips together without overlapping to prevent visible transitions beneath the liner. The geotextile must be bonded across its entire surface to the prepared base.
Bonding to concrete
Apply the adhesive evenly with a brush or roller. Use enough adhesive, especially at the edges, to prevent the underlay from lifting and ensure a firm bond across the entire surface.
Sold by the metre
We supply the geotextile by the metre in a width of 1.5 m. Order exactly the length you need for your project.
Proven in practice
Geotextile is a standard component in professional pool construction. Installers use it to extend liner service life and ensure a quality result.
Recommendations for use
Before installation, clean the base thoroughly and remove all dirt. Lay the geotextile accurately without folds and ensure it is firmly bonded across its entire surface.
