90° PVC elbows for changing pipe direction
A right-angle elbow connects sections of pool pipework through a 90° turn. Besides diameter, it matters whether both ends are solvent-welded or one end transitions to a thread.
50 mm solvent-weld elbow
The standard 90° 50 mm elbow joins two pipes with an outside diameter of 50 mm. Both ends have solvent-weld sockets; this product has an insertion depth of 30 mm.
Transition to a thread
The 50 mm elbow with a 1½″ male thread connects solvent-weld pipework to a threaded fitting. The 50 mm dimension describes the solvent-weld side, while 1½″ describes the thread. A different 2″ thread size is also available in the range.
Short elbow
The short 50 mm socket × spigot elbow has one end designed to insert into another fitting. This differs from a standard elbow with two sockets. The layout must allow for component orientation and insertion depth; solvent-weld and threaded sections are assembled using the appropriate procedures.
