The ideal pH for chlorine-free and chlorine-based treatment products to work correctly is 6.8–7.4. Outside this range, their effectiveness decreases and consumption increases. Low pH causes metal parts in pools and hot tubs to corrode and accelerates fading of plastics and liners. High pH can cause cloudy water and mineral precipitation. It may also irritate the eyes and skin.

Properties:

pH PLUS is a fine white powder with low solubility in water. Its aqueous solution is alkaline, making it easy to raise the pH of water.

Water after treatment:

• Does not irritate the eyes or dry out the skin.
• Does not irritate the skin or mucous membranes.
• Does not damage materials or cause bleaching.

Dosage:

• 10 g of pH PLUS per 1 m³ of water raises the pH of pool or hot tub water by 0.1.

Directions for use:

Add the measured dose to a container of water, stir and add to the pool or hot tub water. Apply with the circulation system running.

Shelf life: 24 months

Read the instructions before use. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Minimise dust in the workplace. Do not mix with other chemicals. Keep spills away from drains and water sources. Keep out of reach of children. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated or soaked clothing. If inhaled, move the affected person to fresh air. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water for 10–15 minutes. If accidentally swallowed, rinse the mouth with water. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice and show the label. Use only for its intended purpose. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use. Rinse the packaging until free of product residues and dispose of it according to its material.
