Preva 100: A Pool Pump for Everyone
The Preva 100 is a proven self-priming pool pump with a prefilter, ideal for pools of around 50 m³. Connection through a 1 1/2-inch female thread or a 50 mm pipe solvent-welded into the supplied unions makes installation easy and flexible. High Durability and Reliability
The Preva 100 is tested and proven for salt water, including sea water, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Every unit is individually tested, as documented by the test sticker attached to the manual. The glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene body and diffuser provide exceptional durability and service life.
Practicality and Efficiency
The transparent prefilter lid makes it easy to check for debris and access the basket for cleaning. The carbon-ceramic and AISI 316 stainless steel sealing element is mounted on a bronze insert for greater durability, while permanently lubricated motor bearings ensure a long service life and quiet operation.
Pool Technician’s Tip
For optimal performance, position the pump correctly and protect it against flooding and frost. During winterization, store it in a dry place with a constant temperature to extend its service life. Our many years of experience with these pumps allow us to recommend them confidently to pool owners.
Installation and Pump Selection
When choosing a pump, consider the pool volume and pipe length. The Preva 100 is ideal for pools of 45–65 m³ when installed nearby, or 35–45 m³ when installed farther away. Aim for the pump to circulate the entire pool volume approximately once every 3 hours for optimal cleanliness.
Package Contents and Recommendations
The package includes the pump with prefilter and lid, two unions with a 50 mm internal diameter and Czech instructions. For installation, use PVC pool pipe adhesive and consider fitting pool ball valves to make pump handling easier.
Invest in the Preva 100 pool pump to help keep your pool water clean and healthy for many years.
Installation:
Mount the pump on a firm, smooth surface. The pump must be securely
fastened through the two mounting holes in its base using two suitable
screws or threaded studs to prevent noise and vibration that could
affect pump operation.
For optimal self-priming, the pump should not be installed more than 2.5 m
above the water level.
Protect the pump against flooding, ensure adequate ventilation and
prevent frost exposure. If installed outdoors, it should be
protected from rain.

We recommend installing shut-off valves on both the suction and
discharge sides so the pump can be removed without draining the entire
pipework.
The suction pipe must be at least the same diameter as the pump inlet. On the discharge side,
use pipework with a diameter matching the pump outlet.
Lay the suction pipe with a slight upward slope toward the pump to prevent
air pockets.
Connect the pump to the pool circuit using 50 mm pipes or a 50 mm flexible hose. Solvent-weld unions are included with the pump, as shown above. We also recommend installing a 50 mm pool ball valve before and after the pump, especially if the pump is below the water level. This prevents the entire pool from draining while handling the pump. For bonding, use PVC pool pipe adhesive.
After winterizing the pool, store the pump in a dry place with a constant temperature, such as a garage. This extends its service life and helps prevent corrosion that could occur in a damp pool pit during wet autumn weather and winter frost.
