🛠 Intex hanging skimmer installation instructions
1. Preparation
- Check that you have all the parts: skimmer body, bracket, basket, lid, hose and adapter(s).
- Install the skimmer on the pool wall near the outlet leading to the filtration system (the filtration suction inlet).
2. Attaching the skimmer
- Hang the skimmer over the pool edge using the bracket. For a frame pool, fasten the bracket to the pool frame with a screw.
- For inflatable pools, hang the skimmer over the edge using the adjustable bracket.
3. Connecting the hose
- Connect the hose to the bottom of the skimmer.
- Connect the other end to the filtration suction inlet, usually using the supplied adapter.
4. Starting up
- Insert the debris basket into the skimmer and close the lid.
- Switch on the filtration system. Water will flow through the skimmer, collecting debris from the surface.
Tips
- Adjust the skimmer height to match the water level.
- Check the basket regularly and remove leaves and debris.
